Wanstead Players

Reputed to be the oldest drama group in East London/Essex having been formed in 1923, The Wanstead Players have been resident at The Kenneth More Theatre, Iford since 1976.

Our repertoire has included works by Christie, Ayckbourne, Shakespeare, Dickens, Priestly, Ibsen and Shaw to name a few. We also encourage works by new writers and have even occasionally performed world premieres.
